Good late morning/early afternoon! It’s Sunday and day 2 of the 24 in 48 readathon, so we are back with another update.
Yesterday wasn’t the most productive reading day…however it was an unseasonably warm and sunny 60 degrees here in Chicagoland so we took full advantage of the weather, spending much of the day outside and then going over to a friend’s place. All in all, Erin read 3.5 hours and Peter made some good progress in The Princess Bride.
Today, we are all about logging those hours! After 5.5 hours and 450 pages, I (Erin) have officially finished my first book, The Trespasser by Tana French. This was the 6th Dublin Murder Squad book and French never disappoints – I absolutely loved this book (and all her others, too). My second book of the readathon will be Problems by Jade Sharma. This is a book my mom sent me a while ago and is less than 200 pages, so it will be a good change of pace. Peter is nearing the end of The Princess Bride and still has bookmarks in Out Stealing Horses and Bloodline.
That’s it for this update! We are back to reading, and will continue to update things on Twitter, Instagram, and Litsy throughout the day/night/weekend. Come talk to us and let us know what you’re reading, either in the comments or on the social medias. And until next time, happy reading!
