Goodreads Challenge:
98/100 books read

Book Riot Read Harder Challenge:
I knocked out one task (read a food memoir: Love, Loss, and What We Ate) and am in the middle of another one (read a nonfiction book about science: Spook: Science Tackles the Afterlife). I have 6 tasks left and two months, so I am very confident I can complete it! I gave up on American Psycho AND also realized that the task is read a book the DECADE you were born, which widens my pool tremendously.

Book of the Month Club Pick:
While I absolutely adore Book of the Month Club, my 6-month subscription has ended and I can’t afford to continue my subscription at this time. SO until I’m more financially solvent, I am suspending the BOTM section of my wrap ups. I’ll be back, don’t worry!

EDIT – My mom is THE BEST and gave me another 3 months of BOTM Club! So I get to tell you that my November pick is The Tresspasser by Tana French, the 6th book in her Dublin Murder Squad series. Y’all I LOVE Tana French and I am so flippin’ excited to get her new one!

Overall, I knocked out another 6 books this month. I read 4 of those books during the Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon, so overall it was a bit of a slow reading month for me. I have had a couple drags and DNFs (like American Psycho) but I am excited for everything I plan to read this month! I hate having to function in cold weather but I do love curling up in blanekts and putting away pages & pages during the late fall/winter.

Don’t forget you can read detailed reviews of all the books I read at, and if you have any thoughts about any of the books I’ve read this month tweet me @GameandRead. Also check us out on Instagram and Litsy, both @GameandRead, and listen to the podcast available here on the blog and on iTunes.

Until next time, happy reading!
