Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon: October 2016 TBR

Dear readers and games,

In just a few short days I will be spending an amazing 24 hours reading, tweeting, and turning into a book as I participate in the October 2016 Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon! This is one of my very favorite book things so I cannot wait for Saturday morning.

As I make my snack shopping list and plan the hours, I thought I would share my TBR for this fall’s readathon! Check out all the books I hope to read during this readathon:

fullsizerenderFellside // M.R. Carey
Dark Matter // Blake Crouch
The Suicide of Claire Bishop // Carmiel Banasky
The Arsonist’s Song Has Nothing to Do With Fire // Allison Titus
The Last Policeman // Ben H. Winters
Uprooted // Naomi Novik
Missing, Presumed // Susie Steiner
Gilead // Marilynne Robinson

It’s a very, very ambitious TBR, with 8 fairly weighty books. I will definitely be starting with Fellside by M.R. Carey because I absolutely adored The Girl With All The Gifts and was so thrilled to pick up his next book. I am also planning to pick out an audiobook so I can plan a gym trip if the mood strikes.

I’ll be tweeting and ‘gramming my readathon hours on the Game & Read Twitter and Instagram accounts, so make sure you’re following us. We’ll also be doing a challenge in hour 14 (8:00 p.m. CST), which we can’t wait to reveal! If you want to participate in the readathon, you can sign up at 24hourreadathon.com!

Until next time, happy reading!
–Erin
