Week in Review 5/7/16

Happy Saturday! It’s time for our week in review. Each week we recap our posts and check out some news stories that piqued our interests.

Game & Read posts this week –

This Week In Bead Sprites:  Submit your bead sprite photos for next week by emailing gameandred@gmail.com.

New Video: We finally completed our journey into the Chronicles of Ni No Narnia! Check out our end of the world/pairing thoughts

The Canon: Remember when you thought skateboards were really cool, yet too terrifying to try? Peter revisited these emotions with Tony Hawk Pro Skater.

#TBT: England, a boy, his bugs, and a giant peach. Erin talks re-reading Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach.

Now, here’s the news that caught our eye this week –

Battlefield 1 Takes FPS To WWI: The rumors have been confirmed, EA’s next Battlefield game will be set in WWI. We aren’t major FPS fans, but this setting is definitely interesting.

Uncharted 4 Reviews Are Flowing In: The game doesn’t launch until the 10th, but it is easy to find many, very positive, reviews for the soon to release Uncharted game.

Co-Founder of Barnes & Noble Stepping Down: Leonard Riggio, one of the book masterminds behind the giant Barnes & Noble is stepping down from his position as executive chairman. There are some rumblings that it’s because the chain isn’t doing super well, but those seem to be just rumors at this point.

Have a happy weekend!
