24 in 48 Readathon: Update #5

It’s 5:00 p.m. Sunday and the 24 in 48 readathon is drawing nearer to the end. I have officially read for 14 hours and 32 minutes – I can’t get to 24, but I will hit my goal of 16 total hours.

Since my last update I finished Joyland by Stephen King, The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame, and Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman. I am picking up what will probably be my final book of this readathon, Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller.

It’s been a great weekend of reading and an awesome start to my 2016 year of readathons! I’ll post a comprehensive wrap up post tomorrow, so check back for my full report of reading time and books.

And now, I’m off to complete the final stretch!

    • It was pretty good! I felt like the story got a little predictable at times but I loved the characters. It would definitely recommend it, especially if you’re already a fan of Gaiman.
