8:00 P.M. Readathon Update

It’s 8:00 p.m. here, I just finished Bryan Lee O’Malley’s Seconds, and I’ve been reading now for 13 hours. In those 13 hours, I’ve completed six books, participated in a number of mini-challenges, and compiled lists of book recommendations based on other readathoners. It has been AWESOME.

I am signing off for a while to watch the Cubs baseball game and give my eyes a break from words, so this may be my last update. I will absolutely be participating in the readathon again in the spring – it is so worth it to clear my day and commit it to one of the things I love most, reading books. Plus it is so fun to be part of the readathon community on Twitter and Instagram.

I’ll be posting a final post-readathon blog tomorrow (Sunday) so I’ll bring this to an end. Thanks for following along all day! You can always find me on Goodreads, Twitter, and Instagram if you like all things books, Chicagoland, graduate school, and more.

Until next time, happy reading!
